After months of rumors the Las Vegas Hilton has announced the lease for the Star Trek Experience will not be renewed.  Star Trek will end on September 1st after a 11 year run.  There is likely to be a surge of visitors at the Experience especially since the Official Star Trek Convention is August 6th - 10th at the Hilton.  This may be a little premature on Hilton's part considering there is a new Star Trek movie coming out in 2009!  The show really should have kept evolving and looking into the future.  Who knows, there are other venues in Vegas that my consider taking the show.
